MASTER PLUMBERS are any persons, firms, or corporations that as a business hire or employ a person or persons to do plumbing work, or without hiring any person does that work as a principal business or auxiliary to a principal business for his or its own account. In New Hampshire, a person shall be a master plumber in order to be in business, and/or can act in the capacity of a journeyman plumber without a second license.

2. Persons to whom a master plumbers' license issued by another state or municipality provided that jurisdiction maintains qualification equivalent or higher than New Hampshire as described in a reciprocal agreement with that jurisdiction.
