Requirements:
1. Four years (8000 hours) of practical experience as an apprentice to a licensed electrician.
2. Four years of schooling (144 hours per year) in electricity.
Continuing Education Requirements: A 15 hour code course on each new edition of the National Electric Code (proof required with renewal once every three years.)
